  • Support of an Energy TSO for the analysis of its business requirements state

    Since the last few years, the energy sector has drastically evolved. The energy sector is a key player in climate change and transition topics to drive change towards sustainable actions and choices. Energy operators invest more and more in renewable sources of power from windmills, solar panels, hydrogen, and hydro power for instance.

  • What we did

    To understand the scope of action needed, we audited the existing requirements state of our client. In fact, the first description of this state realized beforehand was lacking some consistency and information.


    To start this analysis we had to complete, actualize, and prioritize the business requirements together with the operational team. After this first diagnosis of the situation, we challenged the uniformity, consistency, and feasibility of the implementation of an existing solution.


    To this extent, we performed a market analysis on the available mechanisms and proceeded with a gap analysis to challenge some of the tools used by one of the Energy TSO’s subsidiary. This stage enabled us to identify the bottlenecks or open points for further improvements and solutions.


    Once the adequate tool had been identified, we were able to make recommendations to plan the implementation phase. Finally, we streamlined the business process so that our client could easily suit its business requirements with the newly implemented tool.
