Sustainability reporting

To reinforce its visibility and reaffirm its CSR commitments, a major Belgian retailer partnered with Intysify to co-create a stakeholder-focused and engaging local CSR report in just a few months.

Context

In 2025, a large Belgian retailer, particularly active in CSR, suffer from suffers from poor visibility among its external stakeholders due to limited communication.

Faced with this situation, our client expressed the need to give greater prominence to its CSR commitments through a local report that was more readable, attractive and focused on its external stakeholders' expectations.

Our impact

This 5-month mission aims to co-create a distinctive CSR report that highlights the concrete actions taken by the retailer. In a delivery format, several Intysify consultants were mobilized to support our client in producing this CSR report. First, an extensive strategic framing exercise was undertaken in close collaboration with the retailer's internal teams. This involved discussion sessions to clarify expectations of the report and identify the key messages to be highlighted. Particular attention was paid to aligning the report with the priorities to be highlighted in the Belgian context, to ensure that the content of the report met local specificities and stakeholder expectations. The consultants also questioned the choice of topics to ensure their relevance to current social issues.

The next step was to work intensively on the content and differentiation of the report. The aim was to build a strong narrative capable of reflecting the Belgian group's real commitment while strengthening its CSR positioning. This phase included sector benchmarks, comparative studies and best practices to feed strategic thinking. Concrete recommendations were made on the tone and format of the report to make it more accessible and appealing to a non-expert audience.

Finally, the assignment required close coordination across the project team. Thanks to close and continuous collaboration with the consultants (models, market analysis, structure), integrated into a co-creation process with the client, the respect of deadlines and the coherence of the report were ensured through rigorous monitoring of the timetable and deliverables.
