Context

Les Petits Riens is a Belgian social organization that fights poverty and exclusion by promoting the reintegration of disadvantaged people through circular economy initiatives such as the collection and resale of second-hand goods. Faced with the need to optimize its operations and increase its impact, the organization sought strategic and operational support. As part of its commitment to sustainable development and social impact, Intysify offered pro bono support to improve the organization's performance while ensuring a sustainable and inclusive approach.

The main objective of the mission was to help Les Petits Riens optimize its processes to maximize efficiency and optimize inventory management. Specifically, this involved the in-depth analysis of its processes, with the intention of maximizing capacity and operational efficiency. It also involved optimising stock management and operations. The mission also included proposing a governance model and performance monitoring indicators, as well as helping to digitize with an ERP and improve data collection for informed decision making.

Our impact.

Intysify's intervention took place in several phases. First, an audit was carried out to analyze the existing collection, sorting, distribution and outbound processes. This analysis identified the bottlenecks and the improvement levers to be exploited. Based on the conclusions of this first phase, recommendations were made to optimize the supply chain and improve the allocation of resources. An action plan was also developed to increase digitization and facilitate the monitoring of performance indicators. Finally, the support continued with the implementation of the proposed solutions. Intysify assisted the Petits Riens teams with the recommendations. A final presentation was also made to show the results and findings to the management of Les Petits Riens.

This strategic guidance enabled Les Petits Riens to better allocate resources and maximise their social impact.
